NYC Weekend Guide for May 20 – 21, 2017

With spring in full swing and summer just around the corner, we’re set for a beautiful weekend here in the Big Apple. From arts and crafts fairs to parades to live music, there’s something in store for everyone this weekend! Here are just a few things to see and do this weekend in New York City.

Ready, Set, Summer!

This fun pop-up arts and crafts fair sponsored by the NY Handmade Collective features 40 artisanal crafts vendors to explore. Takes place this Sunday at the Grand Bazaar NYC at 100 West 77th Street in Manhattan.

Queens New Music Festival

Sponsored by Random Access Music, this popular music festival, now in its seventh year, will feature a number of enticing local musical artists to enjoy. Takes place at the Secret Theatre at 44-02 23rd Street in Long Island City, Queens this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Sacred Sites Open House Weekend

Take an inside look at some of the city’s most historic and beautiful houses of worship in this unique event sponsored by the New York Landmarks Conservancy. Vulture Festival

This annual pop culture features will feature a trove of panels, performances and visual screenings. Highlight include talks with Neil Patrick Harris and Connie Britton as well as live music. Dance Parade

This Saturday, at least 10,000 dancers will take to the streets of NYC for this unforgettable musical parade. The event also includes DanceFest, a fun celebration of free live music and dancing lessons.

Summer on the Hudson

Summer on the Hudson features free concerts, movies, dance performances and many other activities along Riverside Park all summer long. Don’t miss this!
