Even though it’s still the middle of winter, the Big Apple is packed with fun activities and events to check out. From winter sports contests to special cultural exhibits all across the city, NYC has something in store for everyone this weekend. Here are just a few things to check out for the weekend of January 27 – 28, 2018!

Winter Jam

Head over to the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park this Saturday at 11AM for skiing, sledding, snowboarding, ice sculpture making and even more. Don’t miss out!

Winter Antiques Show

If you’re a fan of both history and collectibles, you’ll definitely want to check out the Winter Antiques Show at the Park Avenue Armory this Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting at 12PM to explore more than 70 booths packed with historic artwork, furniture, decorative wares and much more!

Ice Skating

With the holiday crowds gone, now is the perfect time to enjoy some ice skating at one of the many ice rinks all across the city. Just a few to check out include the iconic Rockefeller Center ice rink, Wollman Rink in Central Park, the Sky Rink at Chelsea Piers and many others!

Valrhona Hot Chocolate Festival

There’s no better way to warm up in the winter months than with a big cup of hot chocolate! Head on over to the Dominique Ansel Kitchen at 137 Seventh Avenue South in Manhattan for some delicious hot chocolate using chocolate from the acclaimed French company Valrhona. Don’t miss this!

Ai WeiweI: Good Fences Make Good Neighbors

Explore the American Museum of Natural History

Winter is a great time to explore the city’s world-class museums and cultural institutions, one of the most famous of which is the venerable American Museum of Natural History.
