  1. It is never too early to begin planning your office move. Depending on size, business relocations are often planned with 6 to 24 months in advance.

  4. Coordinate your move with with the building you are moving out of, and moving into. 90% of the time buildings only allow moves outside of normal business hours, meaning Friday night or the weekend.
  5. Every building has their own set of rules. Meet with the building managers to make sure your move plan is following their regulations. Buildings may have strict rules regarding freight elevator reservations, floor and wall protection, and loading dock restrictions.
