This past year, Eagle Transfer performed the largest relocation in all of New York City. Our goal: To relocate 4,000 people from 26 floors—1 million square feet—from 180 Maiden Lane to 29 floors at 175 Water Street, 1 New York Plaza, and 80 Pine Street. The move commenced the last quarter of 2013 and was completed February 2014. We assisted in moving all contents and information technology equipment. Also included was: AIG’s Board of Directors, Conference Center, printing services, and the mailroom. Simultaneously, Eagle Transfer restacked approximately 800 people at 175 Water Street to accommodate business unit growth as the project evolved. We were with our clients every step of the way.
