The past weekend was easily the busiest of the new year for one of the leading office movers in New York City. With over 120 pairs of work boots deployed across the metropolis, we progressed on longterm projects for longstanding clients like JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Goldman Sachs, and completed a notable office move for Boies Schiller Flexner, a major law firm.
Boies Schiller Flexner, which is known for its powerhouse litigation practice, is among several big law firms relocating their headquarters to 55 Hudson Yards, the 51-story office tower on 11th Avenue between West 34th and West 35th Streets. We helped move the firm into four floors of the new building from 575 Lexington Avenue in Midtown East.
The world of New York City commercial moving is wide and varying. This was an office relocation that spanned almost two weeks and involved the packing and unpacking of around 30 partners at the firm. During this time, we also temporarily stored partner furniture at our new warehouse in Secaucus, New Jersey. (Another primary component of our provided services in addition to commercial relocation is office storage.)
In addition to Boies, Schiller & Flexner, we are also providing moving services for Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy into 55 Hudson Yards, where the firm will occupy 250,000 square feet across nine floors.
