This week was filled with weather from every season besides the one we all want, summer. When we woke up monday it was a wintery blizzard and when we left work it was Spring. This weekend we are in for weather from all seasons as well. Check out these events happening in NYC below, perfect for all types of weather.

Friday April 6th

Tipsy Scoop $1 Special: Although the weather is all over the place, it is technically spring. Head to Tipsy Scoop for booze infused ice cream to pregame your night out. From 4-6pm Tipsy Scoop is offering scoops of Just Peachy sparkling wine ice cream topped with sour gummies for just $1.

Brooklyn Folk Festival: Head to the historic St. Ann’s Church in Brooklyn Heights and experience over 30 live musicians, jam sessions, film screenings, workshops, square dancing and a banjo throwing competition!

Harry Potter Movie Night at the Brooklyn Cat Cafe: Head to the Brooklyn cat cafe to watch Harry potter and play with cats in honor of Hermione’s companion Crookchanks!

Saturday April 7th

Pillow Fight NYC: Grab a pillow and head to Washington Square Park at 3PM for NYC’s Annual Pillow Fight Day!

Brooklyn Museum First Saturday: Head to the Brooklyn Museum for this moths First Saturday party showcasing the new “David Bowie is” exhibition. Saturday night there will be a Bowie persona-prop photo booth, painting sessions, lectures, and, of course live music.

Free Comedy: Head to Free Puppies Comedy Hour for a free comedy show this Sunday! Hosted by Laurel Bacon Cummings (Funny or Die), the lineup includes Aby James (HBO’s Crashing), Troy Bond (Gotham Comedy Club) and Jacob Williams (The Late Show With Stephen Colbert) among other stand-ups.
