There have been many exciting announcements this past week in commercial real estate. Many offices are expanding, some are renewing long standing leases, and new education academies are making some noise on the scene.
The Learning Experience
The early education academy with hundreds of locations nationwide had just signed an 11,000 square-foot deal at the Lighthouse point development in the Saint George area of Staten Island. The school/daycare will occupy the ground floor. The Learning Experience is rapidly expanding with 14 locations under development in NYC. With all this development happening a lot of commercial moving will happen as well. Eagle Transfer will be first in line to assist with any commercial moving The Learning Experience needs.
Tommy Bahama
The island themed apparel company will continue to occupy the entire 11th floor at 4 Bryant Park after renewing it’s lease this week. Tommy Bahama has occupied the space since 1995 and does not have plans on moving out anytime soon.
Tibco Capital Management
The software company has signed an early renewal to remain in the 18th floor of 120 West 45th.
Ernst & Young
Ernst & Young has signed a direct lease at 218 West 18th Street. The firm, which has a sublease, will now directly occupy the space. With this expansion means Eagle Transfer will be prepared to preform office liquidation and office moving for all companies involved.
Fenwick & West
Law Firm, Fenwick & West has signed a 36,400 square-foot deal at 902 Broadway which will relocate its offices from midtown to the flatiron district. This office relocation and expansion was announced last week.
