Plenty of new lease agreements and lease extensions have been signed in the past week. Below is a skim of all the stand out signings you should know about!
Chapman & Cutler
The law firm, Chapman & Cutler, will be expanding their Rockefeller Center Offices so take on an additional 6,000 square-feet at 1270 Avenue of the Americas. The firm will now cover space on the 29th, 30th and 31st floor of the 529,000 square-foot building.
Winklevoss Twins- Gemini Trust
The cryptocurrency exchange company owned by the Winklevoss twins has signed an expansion of 17,050 square-feet at 315 Park Avenue South. Gemini will be adding an additional floor to their footprint in the 20-story building.
Phillips Nizer
The law firm, Phillips Nizer, signed a deal for almost 15,000 square-feet on part of the 10th floor of 485 Lexington Avenue after relocating only 5 months ago.
Kind Snacks
Health and protein bar manufacturer, Kind Snacks, has signed a 33,220 square-foot sublease agreement with Thomson Reuters at 3 Times Square. Kind Snacks will occupy the entire 12th floor of the 32-story building.
Deutsche Bank
The asset management section of Deutsche Bank will be moving to 875 Third Avenue. A 15 year deal was signed for the 82,000 square-foot space.
Latham & Watkins
Law firm, Latham & Watkins, has signed a 407,000 square-foot lease at 1271 Avenue of the Americas. The firm is planning to relocate from 885 Third Avenue in the second half of 2020.
New York City Fire Pension Fund
The NYC Fire Pension Fund will be leaving the FDNY’s headquarters at 9 MetroTech Center and will be relocating to One Battery Park Plaza.
