Summer Streets

Summer Streets is back this Saturday! From 7AM to 1PM, the sounds of honking horns and rushing traffic will vanish for several major streets and avenue from Lower Manhattan to East 72nd Street, replaced by a haven for pedestrians and cyclists as they’re closed off to the city’s infamous traffic. In addition to providing much needed pedestrian space to enjoy, a fun variety of events and activities such as climbing walls, ziplines, waterslides and musical performances will also be available. Central Park’s famous SummerStage offers a rich array of free concerts, poetry readings, theatrical performances and other performing arts events for everyone to enjoy. Smorgasburg
