Happy Easter and Passover!

There’s no better place to be than NYC to celebrate these two great holidays this weekend as well as enjoy the beautiful spring weather. From parades to museum exhibits and just about everything else in between, there’s really something for everyone! Here’s a brief look at just a few of this weekend’s top events and activities here in the Big Apple.

Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival

The famous Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival is the perfect way to spend Easter Sunday! This fun event features a popular parade with participants showing off their elaborate and unforgettable hats. A staple event since the middle of the 1800s, the Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival takes place this Sunday morning on Fifth Avenue between 49th to 57th streets.

New York International Auto Show

Car lovers should definitely head on over to the New York International Auto Show to catch a glimpse of the cars of tomorrow. The popular show features cars from all brands around the world and showcases the latest in clean technology and automobile innovation. Takes place at the Jacob K. The Butterfly Conservatory

Head over to the American Museum of Natural History in the Upper West Side for a great look at various butterfly species in a vivarium compound. A must for nature lovers!

Saving Washington

This fascinating historical exhibit takes a look at the life and legacy of First Lady Dolley Madison and other First Ladies of the United States over the years. View historical artifacts, art, documents and more! A must-see attraction for those interested in Presidential history, the event takes place at the New-York Historical Society in the Upper West Side.

Hester Street Fair

Visit Coney Island

Luna Park and the rest of Coney Island is now open for the summer! Ride the famous Cyclone, see the world from atop Deno’s Wonder Wheel, sample a Nathan’s Famous hot dog and stroll along the boardwalk to enjoy the beautiful, sunny weather. Get there this weekend before it gets too crowded in the summertime!
