Last weekend was another very busy weekend for Eagle Transfer. One job that caused Eagle to be particularly busy started in the middle of last week. This was an office move for MAC (the cosmetic brand owned by Estee Lauder). The commercial relocation required Eagle Transfer to relocate 345 employees, 1200 commercial cartons, 225 library carriers, 400 corrugated bins, 600 dollies from 130 Prince Street to One Soho Square. The move also required Eagle to pack, move and unpack 1500 feet of cosmetic samples.
We began the office move by delivering 5 truckloads of equipment on Halloween night, in the middle of the Halloween parade. This was of course an interesting task, but we got the work done and the move continued as planned on November 1st. The office relocation went through the weekend resulting in 6 different shifts of man power. Eagle Transfer protected the 4 new floors at One Soho Square, completed move preparation, packed, unpacked, disconnected and reconnected all computers. Additionally we stocked all pantries and all additional storage units with cosmetics.
The move was completed on Sunday around 5PM. In the end it was another job well done! Thanks to Joe Kneski for supervising this move, and all of the movers who made sure the move was a success!
