The commercial real estate and commercial relocation markets are obviously very closely tied. Below are last weeks most notable commercial real estate deals, from an office moving perspective.

Cardinal Industries

The 75 year old toy company is relocating within Long Island City, Queens. Founded in 1945, Cardinal has been occupying space in 2101 51st Avenue but will know be moving to the building known as ‘The Factory’ located at 30-30 47th Avenue.

Kroll Bond Rating Agency

KBRA will relocate its 37,000 square-foot office from 845 Third Avenue to 805 Third Avenue. KBRA will occupy floors 26 through 29 in the new space.

Seven Stars Cloud Group

Seven Stars Cloud Group has signed a seven year lease for approximately 10,000 square footage of office space at 55 Broadway. The company will now house all NY employees under one roof.

Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz

Law firm Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz renewed their lease at 270 Madison Avenue. The firm has been occupying the space for 95 years! The firm has been in the space since the building was constructed.

Covington & Burling

Law firm Covington & Burling has signed a 32,000 square foot extension at the New York Times Building at 620 Eighth Avenue.

Live Nation

Live Nation has signed a 20,000 square foot deal at 412 West 15th Street. They will occupy the entire second and third floor of the building.

McKinsey & Company

The global consulting firm will relocate its NY headquarters to 3 World Trade Center from Midtown East. 900 executives will have their offices moved in the upcoming office relocation.
