The past couple of weekends we have been very busy at Eagle Transfer with many commercial relocations across the city. One office move in particular has required approximately 35 movers and 8 trucks to complete the office move two weekends in a row. With upcoming plans to demolish and rebuild their headquarters at 270 Park, JP Morgan Chase has been relocating a significant amount of employees.
Phase one of this JP Morgan Chase office move was completed on October 12th. In total, 920 users were relocated. 620 users shited internally at 5 Manhattan West. The other 300 users moved into 5 Manhattan West from 7 different locations throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey.
Phase two of this commercial relocation was completed on October 19th. This phase consisted of moving 636 users. Only 40 of these users were moving internally, the rest of these users moved into the building from multiple locations throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey. This phase also included office reconfigurations, furniture shifts, and new furniture delivers.
