The last weekend of the month always signifies a lot of office moves, it also means there will be a ton of special events happening across NYC! Check out the list below for a wide range of events happening across the boroughs this weekend.

Friday April 27th

NoMo SoHo– The bar at NoMo SoHo will be selling specialty cocktails inspired by remarkable women in history now through Mother’s Day! Cocktails are named after notable women like Jane Goodall, Nina Simone and Frida Kahlo.

House of Yes– Head to House of Yes in Bushwick for their popular roller-disco themed party, The Roller Wave. Tickets are $20, but if you bring your own skates you can grab a $10 ticket. Be sure to dress in disco attire!

Saturday April 28th

Margarita Rumble– Head to Greenpoint to help crown the margarita king of NYC. 15 local bars and restaurants will compete to decide who serves the best marg!

Baby’s All Right– Head to the Williamsburg dance hub, Baby’s All Right for Candi Pop Night. DJ’s will shamelessly play our guilty pleasures like Christina Aguilera, Destiny’s Child, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.

Sunday April 29th

2 Dope Queens Comedy Show– Ilana and Pheobe, the voices behind popular podcast 2 Dope Queens, will be performing their stand-up routine YQY which is sure to make you shed tears of laughter.

Saturday & Sunday

World’s Fare– The World’s Fare is a culinary festival in celebration of global cuisine happening in Flushing Meadows. More than 100 food vendors will be at Citi Field over the course of 2 days. Tickets are $45 and food is extra.

Sakura Matsuri– Check out the Cherry Blossoms at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, along with over 60 events, talks and performances the garden has scheduled to embrace Japanese tradition.
