Simpson Thacher & Bartlett is one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the entire country. Currently headquartered in Lexington Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, it’s known as one of the city’s most renowned and respected legal firms.
The company’s New York City headquarters had recently undergone a full renovation. As a result, they needed to hire a professional New York City commercial mover that had the expertise and capabilities to pack their partners’ offices as well as disassemble and reassemble furniture in a short time frame. They turned to Eagle Transfer due to our expertise in New York City commercial moving and more than 40 years of professional experience and integrity.
Beginning in September 2016, Eagle Transfer packed up approximately 200 employees at the company’s headquarters and disassembled all partner furniture. The furniture was subsequently moved, reassembled and then unpacked on multiple floors for Simpson Thacher & Bartlett into their swing space. The vacated floors in the building were demolished and then renovated.
After the completion of the renovation, Eagle Transfer once again internally relocated all employees with their contents and furniture to the newly constructed floors. All work was completed from 5PM Friday after attorneys for the firm went home for the weekend, ensuring no disruption to the company’s workflow.
On Monday morning, work resumed and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett was back to business as usual in their workspace. Eagle Transfer’s professionalism helped ensure the move was as seamless and efficient as possible for the firm.
