This student-created haunted house always offers a frightful yet fun experience to get you in the Halloween spirit! The haunted hotel can be found at the Vorhees Theatre at 186 Jay Street in Brooklyn. Don’t miss this!

Wildlife Conservation Film Festival

Environmentally-minded film fans will definitely want to check out the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival, an acclaimed collection of more than 100 environment and animal-centric documentaries from filmmakers who hail from over 40 nations across the world. In addition to film screenings, the event also features panel discussions, Q&A sessions and lectures from scientists and environmental activists. Takes place at Cinema Village at 22 East 12th Street in Manhattan this Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting at 12pm.

NYC Food Film Festival

Food and movies are about the two things everyone can agree are great these days! This annual film festival will offer more than 20 food-minded movies while also serving up tasty food at the same time. Takes place at the AMC Empire 25 movie theater at 234 West 42nd Street. Come hungry for food and flicks alike!

Tompkins Square Park Halloween Dog Parade

The Greenwich Village Halloween Parade is always a blast, but the canine version is even better! Head on over to Tompkins Square Park in Manhattan starting this Saturday at 12pm to see the city’s only Halloween-themed dog parade.
